Wheel Throwing Pottery Experience at Mountaintop Pub & Eatery on July 21st 2pm onward!
Experience Pottery is visiting Mountain Top!
Experience the thrill of spinning clay on a potter’s wheel to Make Your Own Pottery!
This is how it works:
- Bring your favorite people to this fun and creative wheel throwing experience!
- Participants will work in pairs with a one-on-one instruction from our experienced artisan.
- You will move through the creative process of turning a ball of clay into a useful piece of art from start-to-finish.
- After making your pottery on the wheel, you will move to the tables and work on the surface of your piece, painting, carving, or decorating your work of art!
- At the end of the evening, pieces will be taken to our studio to get glazed and fired in the kiln!
- Finished pieces will be delivered back to Mountaintop Pub & Eatery for pick up (please allow 2-4 weeks for processing).
- Your finished pottery will be microwave/ dishwasher/ food/ liquid safe!
Your Experience Cost: $65.00 per person
(Includes materials and process: clay experience, paint/glazing, and firing)
Things to consider during the event:
- Please notice that tiered start times are designed to afford our customers a personalized service and one on one attention. Please arrive 10 minutes before your schedule time and check in with us.
- Long hair should be put up or back, and long necklaces thrown over the shoulder please!
- Thank you for taking your jewelry off your wrists and fingers before we get started.
- Clothing and shoes that you don’t mind getting a little bit dirty should be worn.

- We can not guarantee that you will create the exact shape and result from the pottery piece in the
sample images. We will make every effort to work with you to create the shape of handcrafted pottery you desire, but remember that each piece will look different in shape, and different in size depending on what you create. Every piece will be beautiful since it will be made by you! All of your creative energy will be embedded to enjoy for a lifetime!
- There is a lot that can happen in the process of making pottery and the material can react in unexpected ways, that being said although we will take every precaution to get a successful piece, clay can break during the drying, transportation or firing. If your handcrafted pottery doesn’t get to be completed, you will receive a handcrafted pottery piece made by our artisan.
Cancellation Policy:
- Due to limited seating, we request that you cancel at least 5 days before a scheduled experience. Cancellations made within this period will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made after that are nonrefundable. You may cancel by phone or email to experiencepottery@outlook.com / (607) 414 2062
