Things to know
Before and During the Event:
- Arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time and check in with us.
- Wear clothing and shoes that can get dirty.
- Remove jewelry from wrists and fingers before starting.
- Come early for lunch or stay for pizza after! A full menu will be available for purchase, and you can eat and drink during your experience.
After the Event:
- Your pieces will be taken to our studio to be glazed and fired.
- Pieces will be delivered back to the venue where you created your pottery within 3-4 weeks.
- Finished pieces will be microwave, dishwasher, food, and liquid safe.
Important Details to Keep in Mind:
- You’ll make one wheel-thrown piece (cup/bowl/vase style). Every set of hands is different, so shapes can vary—and that’s the magic. We’ll be with you the whole time to help you land a piece you’ll be proud of.
- After the making of your piece it is important to keep in mind that pottery can be unpredictable, there’s a small chance that your piece might not survive the drying, transportation, or firing process. If this happens, you will receive a pottery gift card so you can come back and try again!
Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel your ticket, please contact us at experiencepottery@outlook.com / (607) 414 2062 at least 7 days prior to the event date.
- Cancellations received within the specified time frame will be eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations received after the specified time frame will not be eligible for a refund.
- If you are unable to attend you can transfer your ticket to a friend. Please send an email to experiencepottery@outlook.com or text us (607) 414 2062 to provide the name of the person attending.
