Make your Own Pottery at No. 27 Cafe
Have a romantic Pottery Date Night or an awesome Girls Night Out at No.27 Cafe!
Experience the the thrill of working on a potter’s wheel to #MakeYourOwnPottery while you enjoy the ambiance and delicious menu at No. 27 Cafe in the heart of Clarks Summit PA!
This is how it works:
- You will work in pairs and have a one-on-one instruction from our professional artisan who will move you thorough the process to make your own pottery on the potter’s wheel and turning a ball of clay into a useful piece of art from start to finish.
- After making your pottery on the wheel, put your personality into the piece by painting, carving, or adding decorations! Our artist will help you create a piece that you will love!
- Enjoy delicious drinks and pastries available for purchase.
- At the end of the evening, pieces will be taken to our studio to get fired!
- Finished pieces will be delivered back to No 27 Cafe for pick up (please allow 2-4 weeks for processing).
- Your finished pottery will be microwave/ dishwasher/ food/ liquid safe!
Your Experience Cost: $65.00 per person
(Includes materials and process: clay experience, paint/glazing, and firing+ your first drink)
Things to consider during the event:
- Review your schedule time and please arrive 10 minutes before to check in with us.
- Long hair should be put up or back, and long necklaces are thrown over the shoulder, please!
- Thank you for taking your jewelry off your wrists and fingers before we get started.
- Clothing and shoes that you don’t mind getting a little bit dirty should be worn.

- We can not guarantee that you will create the exact shape and result from the pottery piece in the
sample images. We will make every effort to work with you to create the shape of handcrafted pottery you desire, but remember that each piece will look different in shape, and different in size depending on what you create. Every piece will be beautiful since it will be made by you! All of your creative energy will be embedded to enjoy for a lifetime!
- There is a lot that can happen in the process of making pottery and the material can react in unexpected ways, that being said although we will take every precaution to get a successful piece, clay can break during the drying, transportation, or firing. If your handcrafted pottery doesn’t get to be completed, you will receive a handcrafted pottery piece made by our artisan.
Cancellation Policy:
- Due to limited seating, we request that you cancel at least 2 days before a scheduled class. Cancellations made within this period will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made after that are nonrefundable. You may cancel by phone or email to experiencepottery@outlook.com / (607) 414 2062
