Join Experience Pottery – where fun, creativity and tranquility play together!
Embrace focus, relaxation, positivity at this hand-built pottery experience at Scranton’s one and only – Groove Brewing.
Connect with your creativity in Groove’s exciting atmosphere, and be sure to sample their one-of-a kind microbrews as you Experience Pottery!
Here’s how it works…
We will start our practice with hand-built pottery techniques then move on to designing our pieces by carving, painting, and adding a variety of ceramic decals. Finished work will be safe to use with food or drink!
The workshop includes all materials, and all the fun you can handle + your first pint!
At the end of the evening, pieces will be taken to our studio to get fired.
Your piece will be microwave/ dishwasher/ food/ liquid safe!
Finished pieces will be delivered back to Groove Brewing for pick up (please allow 2-4 weeks for processing).
Your Experience Cost: $45 p.p. BLACK FRIDAY DEAL!!
(Includes materials and process: clay experience, paint/glazing, and firing) + your first pint!

Things to consider during the event:
Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time and check in with us.
Thank you for taking your jewelry off your wrists and fingers before we get started.
Clothing and shoes that you don’t mind getting a little bit dirty should be worn.
Disclaimer:
We will make every effort to work with you to create the shape of handcrafted pottery you desire, but remember that each piece will look different in shape, and different in size depending on what you create. Every piece will be beautiful since it will be made by you!
All of your creativity will be embedded to enjoy for a lifetime!
There is a lot that can happen in the process of making pottery and the material can react in unexpected ways, that being said although we will take every precaution to get a successful piece, clay can break during the drying, transportation, or firing. If your handcrafted pottery doesn’t get to be completed, you will receive a handcrafted pottery piece made by our artisan.
Cancellation Policy:
Due to limited seating, we request that you cancel at least 2 days before a scheduled class. Cancellations made within this period will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made after that are nonrefundable. You may cancel by phone or email to experiencepottery@outlook.com / (607) 414 2062
