Pottery Date Night at Benny Brewing Company!
Experience the arts and enjoy the atmosphere and delicious food and drinks in one of the best Breweries in Wilkes Barre!
This is how it works:
- Recreate one of the most romantic movie scenes of 90’s and embody Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore!
- Experience the thrill of moving clay on a potter’s wheel to make your own pottery at Benny Brewing Co. Our artisan will move you through the creative process of turning a ball of clay into a useful piece of art from start-to-finish.
- After making your pottery on the wheel, put your personality into the piece by painting, carving, or adding decal images.
- Enjoy delicious food and drinks available for purchase. See the menu here.
- The cost of your ticket includes your first drink.
- At the end of the evening, pieces will be taken to our studio to get glazed and fired in the kiln!
- Finished pieces will be delivered back to Benny Brewing Company for pick up (please allow 2-4 weeks for processing).
- Your finished pottery will be microwave/ dishwasher/ food/ liquid safe!
Your Experience Cost: $65.00 per person
(Includes materials and process: clay experience, paint/glazing, and firing + your first pint* TBA)
Things to consider during the event:
- Please notice that tiered start times are designed to afford our customers a more personalized service and one on one attention. Please arrive 10 minutes before your schedule time and check in with us.
- Long hair should be put up or back, and long necklaces thrown over the shoulder please!
- Thank you for taking your jewelry off your wrists and fingers before we get started.
- Clothing and shoes that you don’t mind getting a little bit dirty should be worn.

- We can not guarantee that you will create the exact shape and result from the pottery piece in the
sample images. We will make every effort to work with you to create the shape of handcrafted pottery you desire, but remember that each piece will look different in shape, and different in size depending on what you create. Every piece will be beautiful since it will be made by you! All of your creative energy will be embedded to enjoy for a lifetime!
- There is a lot that can happen in the process of making pottery and the material can react in unexpected ways, that being said although we will take every precaution to get a successful piece, clay can break during the drying, transportation or firing. If your handcrafted pottery doesn’t get to be completed, you will receive a handcrafted pottery piece made by our artisan.
Cancellation Policy:
- Due to limited seating, we request that you cancel at least 5 days before a scheduled experience. Cancellations made within this period will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made after that are nonrefundable. You may cancel by phone or email to experiencepottery@outlook.com / (607) 414 2062
