DESCRIPTION:Thursday July 13th|  6:00 pm onward \nMargarita Azul Mexican Restaurant and Experience Pottery are joining forces to bring you a Mexican Pottery Date Night! \nThis is how it works: \nExperience the thrill of moving clay on a potter’s wheel to make your own terracotta pottery at Margarita Azul. Our artisan will move you through the creative process of turning a ball of clay into a useful piece of art from start-to-finish. \nAfter making your pottery on the wheel\, put your personality into the piece by painting\, carving\, or adding decal images. \nAt the end of the evening\, pieces will be taken to our studio to get fired! Finished pieces will be delivered to Margarita Azul for pick up (please allow 2-4 weeks for processing). \nYour finished pottery will be microwave/ dishwasher/ food/ liquid safe! \nExperience the arts at Margarita Azul: Enjoy the atmosphere and delicious food in one of the best Mexican restaurants in Wilkes-Barre! \nThe cost of your ticket includes an appetizer (TBA) or a classic margarita. Additional foods and drinks available for purchase at the restaurant! \nYour Experience Cost: $65.00 per person \n(Includes materials and process: clay experience\, paint/glazing\, and firing + one appetizer TBA or 1 free classic Margarita*) \n  \nThings to consider during the event: \n\nTiered start times are designed to afford our customers a more personalized service. The time on your ticket is the approximate time your experience will be starting\, please arrive with enough time if you wish to order food and eat before your experience. Food and drinks will be available to order at all times.\nPlease check in with us at least 15 minutes before your schedule time. \nLong hair should be put up or back\, and long necklaces thrown over the shoulder please!\nThank you for taking your jewelry off your wrists and fingers before we get started.\nClothing and shoes that you don’t mind getting a little bit dirty should be worn.\n\nDisclaimer: \n\nWe can not guarantee that you will create the exact shape and result from the pottery piece in the sample images. We will make every effort to work with you to create the shape of handcrafted pottery you desire\, but remember that each piece will look different in shape\, and different in size depending on what you create. Every piece will be beautiful since it will be made by you! All of your creative energy will be embedded to enjoy for a lifetime!\nThere is a lot that can happen in the process of making pottery and the material can react in unexpected ways\, that being said although we will take every precaution to get a successful piece\, clay can break during the drying\, transportation or firing. If your handcrafted pottery doesn’t get to be completed\, you will receive a handcrafted pottery piece made by our artisan.\n\nCancellation Policy: \n\nDue to limited seating\, we request that you cancel at least 2 days before a scheduled class. Cancellations made within this period will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made after that are nonrefundable.
