DESCRIPTION:Pottery and Mimosas / Sunday\, September 10th @ 11:30 am Join Experience Pottery and Immerse yourself in an extraordinary journey where creativity meets tranquility. In this unique experience\, participants will embark on a captivating journey\, creating pottery with hand-building techniques. Pottery Therapy is an opportunity to embrace mindfulness\, wellness\, and our deep connection to nature. It is a practice that allows you to reconnect with yourself and the creative energy of the earth while you let your creative soul flow through your hands We will start our practice with a creative flow tapping meditation and continue our session with instruction on hand-building techniques to make your own pottery\, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the tactile experience. Through the art of using your hands to make your own pottery\, you’ll enter a state of mindfulness\, focusing solely on the present moment. As you mold the clay and then design and decorate your piece\, you will feel the therapeutic qualities of this ancient practice soothe your mind\, allowing stress and worries to melt away. During this practice\, we will allow time for awareness\, healing\, and transformation with guiding and insightful questions. The workshop includes all materials to paint\, carve and/or decorate your beautiful creation. At the end of the evening\, pieces will be taken to our studio to get fired. Your finished pottery will be microwave/ dishwasher/ food/ liquid safe! Finished pieces will be delivered back to Near Me Yoga for pick up (please allow 2-4 weeks for processing).
