DESCRIPTION:Wheel Throwing Pottery Experience at Spirited Art Scranton on June 22nd 2pm onward! \nExperience the thrill of spinning clay on a potter’s wheel to Make Your Own Pottery at Spirited Art Scranton! \nThis is how it works: \n\nBring your favorite people to this fun and creative night out!\nParticipants will work in pairs with a one-on-one instruction from our experienced artisan.\nYou will move through the creative process of turning a ball of clay into a useful piece of art from start-to-finish.\n After making your pottery on the wheel\, you will move to the tables and work on the surface of your piece\, painting\, carving\, or decorating your work of art!\nAt the end of the evening\, pieces will be taken to our studio to get glazed and fired in the kiln!\nFinished pieces will be delivered back to Spirited Art Scranton for pick up (please allow 2-4 weeks for processing).\nYour finished pottery will be microwave/ dishwasher/ food/ liquid safe!\n\nYour Experience Cost: $65.00 per person \n(Includes materials and process: clay experience\, paint/glazing\, and firing)  \nThis event is BYOB \nThings to consider during the event: \n\nPlease notice that tiered start times are designed to afford our customers a personalized service and  one on one attention. Please arrive 10 minutes before your schedule time and check in with us. \n\n\nLong hair should be put up or back\, and long necklaces thrown over the shoulder please!\n\n\nThank you for taking your jewelry off your wrists and fingers before we get started.\n\n\nClothing and shoes that you don’t mind getting a little bit dirty should be worn.\n\nDisclaimer: \n\nWe can not guarantee that you will create the exact shape and result from the pottery piece in the\nsample images. We will make every effort to work with you to create the shape of handcrafted pottery you desire\, but remember that each piece will look different in shape\, and different in size depending on what you create. Every piece will be beautiful since it will be made by you! All of your creative energy will be embedded to enjoy for a lifetime!\n\n\nThere is a lot that can happen in the process of making pottery and the material can react in unexpected ways\, that being said although we will take every precaution to get a successful piece\, clay can break during the drying\, transportation or firing. If your handcrafted pottery doesn’t get to be completed\, you will receive a handcrafted pottery piece made by our artisan.\n\nCancellation Policy: \n\nDue to limited seating\, we request that you cancel at least 5 days before a scheduled experience. Cancellations made within this period will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made after that are nonrefundable.
