DESCRIPTION:Pottery Date Night / Saturday February 17th 3:00-5:00 pm \nJoin Experience Pottery and Nearme Cafe to a Romantic Pottery Date Night! \nParticipants will work in pairs to create pottery with hand-building techniques. \nPottery brings an opportunity to embrace mindfulness\, closeness\, and deep connections. This experience is perfect for a romantic couples night or a fun night out with friends! \nWe will begging our practice with a creative flow meditation and continue our session with instruction to make your own pottery\, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the tactile experience. \nThrough the art of using your hands to make your own pottery\, you’ll be in the now\, focusing solely on the present moment. As you mold the clay and then design and decorate your piece\, you will feel the therapeutic qualities of this ancient practice soothe your senses. \nYour Experience includes all materials to mold\, paint\, carve and/or decorate your beautiful creation. \nAt the end of the evening\, pieces will be taken to our studio to get glazed and fired! \nYour finished pottery will be microwave/ dishwasher/ food/ liquid safe! \nFinished pieces will be delivered back to Near Me Cafe for pick up (please allow 2-4 weeks for processing). \nYour Experience Cost: $65.00 per person \n(Includes materials and process: clay experience\, paint/glazing\, and firing + a Glass of Rose and Strawberries with chocolate to share)  \nThings to consider during the event: \n\nSpecial Menu Items will be available for purchase at Nearme Cafe\nPlease arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time and check in with us. \nThank you for taking your jewelry off your wrists and fingers before we get started.\nClothing and shoes that you don’t mind getting a little bit dirty should be worn.\n\nDisclaimer: \n\nWe can not guarantee that you will create the exact shape and result from the pottery piece in the\nsample images. We will make every effort to work with you to create the shape of handcrafted pottery you desire\, but remember that each piece will look different in shape\, and different in size depending on what you create. Every piece will be beautiful since it will be made by you! All of your creative energy will be embedded to enjoy for a lifetime!\nThere is a lot that can happen in the process of making pottery and the material can react in unexpected ways\, that being said although we will take every precaution to get a successful piece\, clay can break during the drying\, transportation\, or firing. If your handcrafted pottery doesn’t get to be completed\, you will receive a handcrafted pottery piece made by our artisan.\n\nCancellation Policy: \n\nDue to limited seating\, we request that you cancel at least 2 days before a scheduled class.
